
The Somes-Meynell Wildlife Sanctuary provides a variety of school-based and field-based environmental educational programs for local students and teachers on Mount Desert Island and beyond. Programs are customized to teacher and class needs and curriculum goals, with particular emphasis on involving students in project-based, inquiry learning.
