We will avoid tomorrow morning’s bitter cold (forecast for 6 degrees) and go for a walk Saturday morning at 10:00. We’ll meet on the right hand (west) side of the Seawall picnic area. The temperature should be rising quickly from a low of 18 degrees by then and it is forecast to be pretty calm in the wind department. We should see more winter ducks on the water and songbirds in the shrubby upland edge above the beach. I’m sure there will be some loons out there as well. There will be a high tide while we are there, so we may see some waterbirds closer to us than usual. Sorry for the late notice, but I hope some of you can join us!
